we are alright! we live way down the bottom of the "warning area" so all we got was some overcast skies and 1 shower of rain. i really feel for those in innisfail. it would have been so scarey. espeically for those with kids. i woulda just packed everyone up on friday and went driving west to keep out of the way.
on the weight side of things this morning I weighed 67.2 so all is good. my morn sickness has disappeared except for when i let myself get really tired and dont eat enough. so im sleeping when i can!
im starting to collect second-hand stuff for the new nursery - such fun!!! i need a toddler bed for Bee cos i wanna use her cot for the new baby. plus a new chest of drawers. i want a comfy breastfeeding chair for beside the cot (kids sleeping in seperate rooms). and im getting 2 room dividers from an office that is renovating in mackay - so im gonna cover them in colourful material and sew big pockets in it so i can store toys/books and stuff in it. brighten up the room and will help seperate off the play/sleep areas.

i thought id be around 69 so was extremely pleased with this result!
i also posted my goals for weightgain during pregnancy on the left to help keep me on track.
quick post
ive been in mackay for the last 1.5 weeks visiting family so that is why i havent posted. just wanted to let u know that i am still alive! a couple of dot-points:
- EDD: 21st Oct - thats my brothers birthday!
- I lost weight and got below my WW goal weight (I got down to 67kg), but now im back up again!!!! Weight at the moment is around 69kg. ill weigh tomorrow and post results.
- Basically no exercise cos have had bad morning sickness and always tired.
- Eating lots of fruit and fresh produce - thats great!
- I have a feeling this is gonna be a boy!

Food/Exercise:I cant even keep up with how much food im eating now!!! ive had all-day nausea every day since i found out i was preggers. so im eating basically every 1 - 2 hours to keep it bay. Im trying to stick mostly to fruit so im finding that im having around 5 serves of fruit a day! so i have widened the range of fruit i eat so i dont get sick of it - nectarines, grapes, apples, oranges, bananas, plums - i eat it all.
In regards to exercise i have just been too sick and tired to do it. even a small walk just seems to be too much at the moment. but once the first trimester is over i really want to do more exercise.
Weight gain over pregnancy:I've heard that the plan should be to gain 1-2 kilo in the first trimester, then 1-2 kilo every month after that. so that is my plan!
Bee's sleeping:I have taught her how to go to sleep on her own!!!!!!! previously i was rocking her to sleep. now she cries for less than a minute and SLEEPS THROUGH!!! i cut out all her night feeds cos she doesnt need them anymore. so now i am getting more sleep at night and more rest during the day. she really settled into this routine nicely. it only took 1 night of being unsettled for her to set the new routine and we have had 4 nights of sleep-throughs since then! hallelujah!!!
- I want to gain 1-2kg in the first trimester, then 1-2kg each month until my EDD.
